Security system maintenance and call-out

A security system only protects you if it works. We maintain alarms, CCTV and access systems for businesses and homes to keep them in good order, and run a 24-hour call-out service for when something goes wrong, including Sundays and bank holidays.
What is included
- Checks of sensors, cameras, recorders and batteries
- Cleaning camera lenses and checking each view
- Testing the bell box and the keypad
- A call-out service when something stops working
Regular maintenance
Batteries run down, lenses get dirty and sensors get knocked. A maintenance visit checks every part of the system and puts right anything that is not working, so it is ready when you need it.
When something goes wrong
If your alarm keeps going off, a camera goes dark or the recorder stops, ring us any time. Our 24-hour call-out covers Sundays and bank holidays.
What a maintenance visit covers
We check every part of the system and put right anything that is not working.
- Alarm sensors, door contacts and the panel tested
- Backup batteries checked and replaced when they are tired
- Camera views checked, lenses cleaned and recording tested
- Recorder storage and the app checked
- Bell box tested and its battery checked
- A note of anything that needs attention, before it fails
Systems we can look after
We maintain the systems we fit, and we can often look after alarms, cameras and entry systems fitted by someone else. Ring us with the make and model and we will tell you whether we can help.
A system that is checked regularly is far less likely to give false alarms, which saves you and your neighbours a lot of trouble.
Maintenance and call-out: common questions
How often should an alarm be maintained?
We will recommend a schedule for your system at the first visit. Some insurers set their own requirement, so check your policy.
Do you maintain systems you did not fit?
Often, yes. Tell us the make and model and we will let you know.
My alarm keeps going off. What should I do?
Ring us. A false alarm usually points to a tired battery, a draught or a sensor in the wrong place, and it is often a quick fix. Until we arrive, the keypad will show which zone was set off.
Is there a charge for a call-out?
We will tell you what a call-out costs when you ring, before anyone comes out.
