How an alarm job runs
We visit, walk round with you and plan where each sensor goes. You get a free quote that lists every part.
On the day we fit the panel, keypad, sensors and bell box, test each one and show everyone in the house or business how to set and unset the alarm.
Bells-only or app alerts
A bells-only alarm sounds and flashes to scare off an intruder and alert neighbours. Many of the alarms we fit can also send an alert to your phone, so you know straight away when it goes off. Our guide explains the difference.
If you need police response
A police-response alarm must be fitted by an installer the police recognise, usually one with NSI or SSAIB certification. Elite does not hold that certification, so if your insurer asks for police response we will tell you at the quote.
Fewer false alarms
Most false alarms come from sensors in the wrong place, pets, draughts or tired batteries. We place sensors with your home or premises in mind, use pet-tolerant sensors where you need them, and check the system at each maintenance visit.

Will the alarm tell me if it goes off when I am out?
Many of the alarms we fit can send an alert to your phone. We will tell you at the quote which options suit your property.
Can you look after an alarm someone else fitted?
Often, yes. Ring us with the make of the panel and we will tell you whether we can maintain it.
Do you fit monitored alarms with police response?
No. Police response needs an installer with NSI or SSAIB certification, which Elite does not hold. We will say so at the quote.
Can I have sensors that ignore my pets?
Yes. Pet-tolerant movement sensors are designed to ignore smaller animals. Tell us about your pets at the quote and we will plan the sensors around them.
